We seek out for a world of love, hope & equality where poverty becomes a memory and children live in safety and dignity.

Hunger is a redolent word. We all understand what it feels like to be hungry. Over forty million American faces hunger annually in a country that food should not be a concern. So if Americans are suffering with hunger, what about the third world countries?  The World Health Organization describes hunger in many different forms “includes under nutrition (wasting, stunting, underweight), inadequate vitamins or minerals, overweight, obesity, and resulting diet-related noncommunicable diseases” WHO reported that “52 million children under 5 years of age are wasted, 17 million are severely wasted and 155 million are stunted, while 41 million are overweight or obese. Around 45% of deaths among children under 5 years of age are linked to under nutrition. These mostly occur in low- and middle-income countries. The Untied Nations has been striving for decades to call  action, a policy on nutrition and hunger. “These policies are focusing on the 6 main focus keys.

  • creating sustainable, resilient food systems for healthy diets;
  • providing social protection and nutrition-related education for all;
  • aligning health systems to nutrition needs, and providing universal coverage of essential nutrition interventions;
  • ensuring that trade and investment policies improve nutrition;
  • building safe and supportive environments for nutrition at all ages; and
  • strengthening and promoting nutrition governance and accountability, everywhere”.

The Orphans World Wide Organization shares the same value on hunger as the World Health Organization and the Untied Nations. We believe that no child should go to sleep hungry. Every child deserves the basics of life for survival and at least a minimum of 2-3 meals per day. We strive to be able to sustain the delivery of food and clean water for our orphan children routinely.

The children of Haiti and the Dominican Republic are among those who are suffering malnutrition crises. A donation of $1 per day can feed 7 kids each given day. Donate today and take a share on this rewarding cause of “ Don’t let the child sleep hungry”. Orphans World Wide contribute 100% of donations for the children, The platinum seal of transparency was awarded by “ Guide star” as the highest seal of transparency in utilization of donations. Donate with confidence. Don’t let children sleep hungry.
